History
The Alau Sports Complex is the largest ice arena in Astana, where sports spirit, technology, and comfort come together. The complex was built for the VII Winter Asian Games and has become one of the city's hallmarks. International competitions in speed skating, hockey, and figure skating are held at Alau. Mass skating sessions, children's sections, and fitness classes are also organized here. The modern ice surface, quality lighting, and ideal temperature make skating as comfortable as possible. The complex is open to everyone—from professional athletes to active leisure enthusiasts. In addition to the rink, there are sports and gym halls, martial arts rooms, and a café. On weekends, Alau is especially popular among families with children and young people.
