History
The monument is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The soaring stele consists of 25 facets, each symbolizing one of the key achievements and events of the people over the years of independence — from 1991 to the present. 25 facets — 25 years of Independence, 25 important milestones in the history of modern Kazakhstan. The monument, directed towards the sky, embodies the aspirations, hopes, and spiritual pursuits of the people of Kazakhstan.
