Pick-up in Almaty and departure toward Altyn-Emel National Park.
Arrival at Basshy village — the gateway to the park — followed by immediate continuation to the Singing Dune. Enjoy an approximately 1-hour hike to the top, with time to take in panoramic views of the surrounding desert and Ili River valley.
Continue to the Aktau Mountains for a 1-hour walking exploration of the area’s most scenic viewpoints and unique geological formations.
Lunch.
After lunch, proceed to the Katutau Mountains for a short walk and exploration of the volcanic landscapes.
On the return journey, stop at the historic 700-year-old willow tree.
Drive back to Almaty. Drop-off.
