The Kolsai Lakes ("Stars of the Tian-Shan") are a chain of three alpine lakes nestled in the Northern Tian-Shan mountains, 330 km from Almaty. Combined with the otherworldly Kaindy Lake — famous for its submerged fir trees rising from turquoise water — this is one of Kazakhstan's most iconic nature routes.
Our group tour departs every Friday and Saturday from Almaty. The small-group format (max 12 people) means personal attention, a knowledgeable guide, and a genuine shared adventure.
