Your journey begins with a private pick-up in Almaty and a scenic drive toward Altyn-Emel National Park. Along the way, enjoy two carefully planned stops: a short refreshment break, followed by a cultural tasting experience where you’ll sample traditional delicacies such as kumys, shubat, kurt, as well as freshly prepared samsa and plov.
Upon arrival in Basshy village, you will be welcomed with lunch before visiting the Altyn-Emel National Park museum, offering insight into the region’s unique landscapes and heritage.
The adventure continues with a drive to the striking Aktau and Katutau mountains. En route, pause at a remarkable 700-year-old willow tree — a quiet, atmospheric landmark in the steep.
